The History of the Editorial Board
2023 Spring Staff ~ 2022 Fall Staff ~ 2022 Spring Staff ~ 2021 Fall Staff
Welcome to the gallery hall of former (and some current) editors of The Palouse Review!
Each edition requires the collective effort of a diverse group of student and faculty editors, and just as each edition lives on in our archives, so too the staff who worked on them live on in our History pages! As we move forward with our new systems, this page will serve as a way to see the growth and change of our editorial board and the students who serve on it.
If you have served on The Palouse Review, or have information about missing editors, please contact us at thepalousereview.honors@wsu.edu!

![]() | Kim Andersen Professor, Washington State University Managing Editor, The Palouse Review Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction, and Scholarship Genre Editor, The Palouse Review I am a reader, no more, no less, and so I read. Does the content overflow? Is the language clichéd, involuntarily stuffy, artificially pretentious? Or does it say something, do something, effectively? Does it have the whiff of promise? Can we measure promise? The road to hell is littered with the corpses of editors, inquisitors, teachers, and judges who didn’t see it, didn’t get it, didn’t want it. So, keep the flame alive. Every creative text deserves a reading. I teach and advise at the WSU Honors College. I teach art and art theory, literature, and the nuts and bolts of the absolutely non-poetic task of how to write an Honors thesis. One of my favorite topics continues to be what classical minds thought about the elusive and mesmerizing activity we call art while trying to figure out if they have any contemporary relevance. Thinking about it, of course, is not the same as doing it. |
